Aquatic decals are mandatory for any powered vessel operating on New Hampshire waters, no matter what state your boat is registered in.
One day or one year, you must have one.
A note about watercraft decals (vessel/boat), which we all missed because we did not have the need last year.
There are two new boating decals in NH in addition to your registration decal.
Print or have a PDF of the confirmation document and have it onboard or on your phone.
That is acceptable proof of purchase.
If you are a resident of New Hampshire and register a boat in this state, you automatically get the new round aquatic decals when you register your boat and receive your square registration decal. They will be the same color.
If you have a boat that is not registered in New Hampshire, your powered vessel, regardless of state of registration, must have a New Hampshire aquatic decal, with no exceptions. If you are renting a property during the boating months or if you have a guest bringing their vessel up while they visit, anyone staying at the campground for a weekend, a week, or more should abide by this rule.
This decal funds milfoil management throughout the state.
