The Forest Lake Improvement Association has been the caretaker of the dam that makes up Forest Lake since 1928.
William Davis, Winfred Drugg, and Ellen Delphia had a vision, and they acted on that vision nearly a century ago, transforming Humphrey’s Pond into Forest Lake. That vision created an enduring asset for the town of Winchester and a place that generations of residents and visitors have been able to enjoy.
Today, the Forest Lake Improvement Association continues the work of those who came before us by caring for and preserving Forest Lake and its surrounding community. We owe it to ourselves, our community, and the memory of our predecessors to continue that stewardship and ensure that future generations can benefit from and enjoy the lake as we do today.
