The Forest Lake Improvement Association have been the caretakers of the dam that makes up Forest Lake since 1928.   William Davis, Winfred Drugg and Ellen Delphia had a vision and they acted on that vision 93 years ago and turned Humphrey’s Pond into Forest Lake.  That vision is still to this day a valuable asset of the town of Winchester.  But the dam has aged after all these years and is in need of a major renovation.  We owe it to ourselves, to the community, and to the memory of our predecessors to undertake that renovation and ensure that future generations are able to  benefit from the lake as we here today have.
