Dam Reports

At a recent Membership meeting of the FLIA in July the BOD report  on progress of the feasibility studies being conducted on the current  dam. The FLIA is monitoring the lake level throughout the entire 2021  season.  This chart will be updated from time to time.  You can find a  list of words attached that are relevant to dam terminology which can  help with understanding the reports provided from time to time.  Finally  you will find an elevation chart that designates the average water  height of the lake during the winter and summer months, the theoretical  50-year storm event elevation as well as our highest know water line in  the past 30 years.  As you can see our dam is certainly capable of  supporting any of the storm surges we have seen in recent times.
